Summary

A client in Ponder wanted to add character to a plain room with a board and batten accent wall. The project called for careful prep and detail work to achieve a crisp, professional look.

The Work

Removed existing baseboard to prepare the space
Mounted smooth hardboard panels as the wall surface
Installed a custom board and batten pattern using primed MDF boards and a top cap
Filled, sanded, and caulked all joints and holes
Applied two coats of spray finish for a clean, even result

The Outcome

The wall now serves as a striking feature, with clean lines and a smooth, uniform finish. The careful prep and finishing steps brought out a level of detail that stands out in the space.
